It has gotten great reviews. Is it an easy ready, as it doesn’t seem like it? Is it a mystery? Is it a super great book? Thanks!

I loved this book and the two sequels to it. I wouldn’t call it an easy read nor excessively difficult. It’s a mystery in some respects; the main story is this: a journalist, Mikhail Blomqvist, is convicted of libeling a billionaire industrialist. Blomqvist takes a leave of absence from his job at a magazine and is offered a job by another wealthy businessman, who wants him to investigate the disappearance and probable murder of his niece 40 years earlier. Blomqvist is aided by a young computer hacker, Lizbet Salander, a brilliant but odd girl.
There are two aspects of the book that might make it difficult. One is that it is set in Sweden and the names are unfamiliar to most Americans. The other is the subject matter, as Blomqvist and Salander uncover a series of horrific crimes in their attempt to find out what happened to the missing niece.

It’s not that easy reading (It’s 500 pages long!) I recommended it to a friend but she said she found it hard to get into it. If you really love crime thrillers then it is a super great book. I loved it and now reading the second in the trilogy
Good Luck!
