Can I start reading from The Girl Who Played with Fire? or I have to read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo first?

I suggest starting with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The second books refers to a lot of things in the first and some of her relationships with the characters are dependent on what happened in the first book. It’s worth it to start at the beginning in this case. Can’t wait until the third book makes an appearance in English.
